if you have speakers attached, a source like a cd player selected, press play on the player and turn up the big dial on the right to your desired level of sound. other inputs can be selected if you have other sources, like a computer playing like,,,,youtube. press the line 1 or whatever line in you plugged into and again the big dial on the right. enjoy.
