“I just got this receiver how do I turn off the stand by feture i like it to play at all times”

• Leave it on. It is only in standby which is a type of sleep mode. Leaving it on with volume down will keep it out of standby.When you click the power button it will go to standby. If your power in your house goes out or surges slightly up or down then the receivers safety feature will put it into standby.
