Yes it does. And if you have a Yamaha CD player the receiver remote will power the CD player as well. Myself I don’t really like that the volume starts at mute. Turn volume up and it goes from 01 they 99 but I can not hear much of the “high output power until I get to around 50 on the volume. I’m fixing to put some junk speakers on the receiver and rock out to some good Godsmack and smoke some speakers if this receiver gots the power. So far I am definitely not impressed with the so called “high output power” I’m a vintage pioneer receiver and speakers fan so time will tell if I need to just throw this yamaha receiver in a hole and burry it.
