“Will I be able to connect wireless speakers to this unit? I didn't want to go through the walls and my family room is not conducive to running wires. My front speakers are wired in and work fine, but I need to get a pair of back speakers for surround”

I do not believe this is possible with this unit. While it does have a Bluetooth capability I believe this is only for connecting a music source. I did not see any reference in the set up instructions nor in the Yamaha setup app that hinted at this possibility. This is a very basic AV receiver with a minimum of inputs and outputs. It will serve most people just fine, but if you need Bluetooth speaker support I’d start at Yamaha’s website and see if you can search for this feature.
