“I have 5.1 klipsch surround speakers. That are about 8 years old. Will this receiver work with my klipsch speakers? Thank you”

• The receiver expects five passive speakers and a powered sub. If that is what you have you are good. If the set came with extra processing units, amplifiers and decoders those will be of no use to you.

• If your klipsch speakers use speaker wire that clip into the positive and negative portion on the back of the receiver the speakers will work with the Yamaha receiver.
