Yes, from your TV to the receiver you'd run an HDMI cable from the TV's ARC (Audio Return Channel) to the Receiver's HDMI ARC. If your TV doesn't have ARC you'd use the TV's optical out. This transmit the sound (audio) from the fiber to the TV to the receiver. You can then adjust the receiver's control of the sound to you liking i.e. 5.1 surround, stereo, etc... p.s. your fiber goes to the TV...not the receiver.
