I would imagine that yes, it should work. Hard to say definitively without seeing what you have of course. But this being a 5.1 system that connects with basic speaker wires, I would say you shouldn't have too hard of time connecting everything. Also I'm assuming the sub woofer you have connects via RCA.

Yes, this Yamaha receiver does support 5.1 speaker system, which has Left/Right front, center, left/right rear and subwoofer speakers.

It worked great for me. I haven’t hooked up the rears yet, but the fronts, center, and subwoofer work great. There are a lot of tuning options. I started with the programming microphone and then altered the center and subwoofer to suit my ears. Using an AppleTV as the source.
