- Answer The Dohm creates a fan based white noise. There is a fan blade and a motor inside the machine that creates this noise. You can control the air flow through the vent openings to manipulate the volume and tone of the sound. QuestionI have an ASTI Lectro Fan white noise machine that includes fan noise and white noise. It's pretty good but neither channel has an option with a low enough frequency for my liking. Do you know what the lowest frequency sound is on this machine?
