It’s designed to take the blow for the screen it’s not 100% guaranteed. But I’ve yet to have to replace a screen on my phone
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It’s like laminated glass. If you drop the iPad on the it’s screen (pointy surface), it will crack the protector. You’ll notice that the iPad screen is fine when you peel away the protector. Assuming you also bought an iPad case to protect the edges on side drops. Otterbox case that supports 4’ drop test.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it’s tempered glass. It shouldn’t I’ve used this brand tempered glass screen protectors on all my iPhone and all of my phones have been through it but the only thing that cracks is the glass itself never my screen.
