No just 1 piece for the screen.

There is a cover over the front and back of the screen protector though when you first buy them. The back part you take off when you are ready to install the screen protector. The front part protects the front of the screen protector before you or someone else installs them. Don't remove the front until after you have the screen protector installed on your tablet. That might be where part of the confusion comes from.
