No, A screen protector only helps with not getting any scratches. Screen protectors will not prevent the actual screen from getting shattered
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will only prevent screen breakage if you have a case. As with all protectors. The corners are the most delicate point and they are exposed. This screen protector is to be used in conjunction with a phone case for added protection. Because even with a phone case your screen can still shatter. Hope this helped (from experience about 5 times lol).

Slipping out of hands on even platforms like my 5s otterbox Nuclear Blast Protection my iPhone always survives even when it fell in water 3feet. Loved the outer case. Screen Protectors on phones vary.
