Yes it fits the new 2017 surface and it doesn't interfere with the keyboard.

Yes it fits and no it does not interfere with the keyboard I love my screen protector. I purchased mine because one month after receiving my Surface Pro, my cat bit the corner of the screen and caused a crack diagonally through the screen. Because I received this Pro as a gift, the gift buyer did not purchase an extended warranty and it wasn't covered by Best Buy so this was an essential purchase to save the unit from further harm. Cat still is attracted to the material this unit is made of which is scary. So Keep away from cats or dogs
