“Is this compatible with cases? I know some of the protectors are not”

It really depends on the case. I have a Spigen rugged armor but I haven't put mine on yet as I just had my SP installed about 3 hrs ago. I'm going to wait 48 hrs as suggested, however, the young lady at BB that installed mine had this protector on hers with a Spigen liquid crystal case on hers and it looked great! I even took her case off to look at the rounded curves and edges and it was laying flat all around. Color me convinced!

I have one I bought from Amazon that is considered to be thin, and I haven't had too much of an issue with the case coming in contact with the screen protector. I would suggest having Geek Squad putting it on the phone, that way they can tell you whether or not the case would interfere with the screen protector in some way.
