How do I get the keyboard to work null

It must be connected via Bluetooth. Go to Bluetooth settings on iPad and search for the Zagg device.

After paired with your iPad (do this only once after purchase) and just start typing.

Make sure the iPad’s Bluetooth is enabled before you turn on the keyboard. And make sure the keyboard has been sufficiently charged before pairing the devices. The directions are pretty straightforward.

Make sure it's charged, and then you have to pair it with your iPad's Bluetooth.
