Not sure, the apple case is clam shell style but I prefer this one and only use other when traveling
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found the Fabri Skin Keyboard Folio by Logitech works great for me. It's very lite and the keyboard is real smooth and easy to type on.I'm also waiting for the clamshell case for the ipad air to make its day view.

The other models of Zagg keyboards don't really resemble the Clam Case at all in my opinion. This one has a hinge that allows viewing at almost any angle and it stays open at that angle. It also has the keyboard set back a little bit so it leaves a ledge in the front to rest your hands on like the Clam Case. It is a whole lot lighter than the Clam Case though, which is a huge plus.
