If you are using it properly, then yes, something has to be wrong. I would contact the company as soon as possible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That happened to me once. I contacted the manufacturer and they were concerned and promptly sent me a replacement filter which worked fine. Obiviously, the bad one was defective and they stood by it. After it's reached its maximum life, the water starts to taste lemony and it's time to test it with the meter provided, and probably need to be replaced.
