    • Answer Hello, Thank you for your question! Please note that our range hoods do not include ductwork, which will need to be purchased separately. This unit does, however, come with a standard two-piece telescoping chimney (9.2" W x 8" D x 16" H each) designed to cover the ducting. This chimney is suitable for ceilings between 8 and 9 feet. If additional coverage is needed, we also offer an extension piece for this model under part number 1PCEXT-KB/KL2/KL3. Charcoal Filters - Ductless Kits (CF1) are used for converting your range hood to ductless and are sold separately on https://zlineparts.com. These filters are made of activated charcoal carbon that is designed to remove contaminants and impurities from the air before recirculating the air back into the home. Filters are not reusable and will need to be changed out once every six months, depending on cooking style and frequency.
