• A:Answer Hello Mona! Thank you for your inquiry. The chimney is telescoping with two 16 inch pieces. The minimum ceiling height for this model is 7.70 ft with a maximum height of 9.45 ft. This is an average height range for our range hoods. Additionally, this model comes with a short kit for shorter ceiling heights and extension kits for vaulted ceilings. • A:Answer Hi there, This particular model does not include the crown molding. We do manufacture the KBCRN-30 and it does include the crown molding. Additionally, this can be vented out the back wall, we just recommend you vent vertically about 10" first. It cannot go directly out the back. Thanks!
