Hello, thank you for reaching out. This remote blower has a max of 700 CFMs. You can change the CFMs based on the speed: 280/420/560/700 CFMs. However, if you are required to have no more than 400 CFMs we do have many range hoods/remote blowers that have a max of 400 CFMs. Please contact us at zlienkitchen.com/contact for further recommendations.
