When one sim card is connected to 4G LTE, the other sim card can only connect to 3G or 2G. When one card is connected to a phone call, the other card is unreachable. The phone is dual sim dual standby. ATT killed 2G in December 2016. I did put two ATT sim cards into the phone for testing to make sure this phone works as described. This is the reason I purchased an Asus ZS550KL and this phone. Most dual sim phones support only 4G plus 2G. This is not what I was looking for. The Asus ZS550KL went crazy after only 30 hours because of stupid design. I was really happy to find the ZTE Axon 7 mini to replace the Asus. The ZTE box has only one IMEI but you can dial *#06# to get the second IMEI. ATT needs the IMEI number to allow data and hotspot functions. The second sim uses the microSDXC card tray.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I travel with this phone to Africa with my AT&T SIM and use an Airtel SIM at the same time and it does get 3G and 4G at the same time. Note that it doesn't have a very good radio, so connections, even when on 3G/4G aren't that good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They both have LtE but you cannot use them at the same time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This phone works with both sim, so when a sim is on a call, the other don't works, and u have to decide, both sim card, or1 sim card with SD card. To work with both sim card and the sd card, u get to make some thrick, on YouTube they teach it.
