• The ZMax is locked to T-Mobile. Your old T-Mobile SIM card should work if it is the correct size. T-Mobile sells the ZMax with a SIM card designed for 4g LTE. If your old phone does not have 4g LTE it might be a good idea to use the newer SIM card.

• Yes you can. This is a T-Mobile unlocked phone. It even says T-Mobile on the box.
