It blocks unnecessary wind and makes for even an interview mic, very professional sounding.

A quick online check at BestBuy.com and I found a local BB store that had two of these items. Went to the store and asked the guy at the entrance where I could find a "Deadcat". Of course he thought I was joking. I got help from another person, returned to the entrance watcher, and showed him that indeed they sell a "Deadcat".
