    Regression
A detective (Ethan Hawke) investigates horrifying claims that a young woman (Emma Watson) was tormented by a satanic cult that infiltrated her small town. Happy to see that Ethan Hawke didn't die in this movie. I thought the story was interesting especially the scenes where the doctor regressed these people because it really opens your eyes to what is real and what isn't. Are these memories really what happened? I was intrigued by this part of the movie. It really got me thinking about the world of Psychology and Hypnosis and how it seems you can almost manipulate the outcome. Very interesting movie, but a bit on the boring side.

I did not like this movie at all. The previews are what made me buy it. The previews are the only best part. You know a movie is not good when you can't even remember what it was about a few days after watching it, case in.point for me! I would not recommend it because I can't remember what it was about. But I do know, that I didn't like it because I kept pausing the movie to go do something else!

Pleasantly surprised. I love ski fi and fantasy and I'm a little wary of movies that venture into the occult. They usually end poorly - I hate how the suspense builds only to be let down that it is just some stupid bloody gore slasher ending or some third rate cheesy exorcist or Amityville knockoff. However, this one had an intriguing twist that held my interest and didn't get cheesy. Bravo.

Well...... After enjoying most of Ethan Hawke's movies, I thought this "read" like it would be a decent movie.... I gave it 2 stars, because a lot of the movie was "FAIR".... However, if they titled this to follow truth in marketing beliefs, it should have been titled - REGRET-SHUN, because you'll more than likely Regret having spent much(if any) money on it.

This movie is based upon true events about regression therapy and the issues that have been connected to its use. I found the story good and disturbing at points (which I believe was the point the film maker was going for). I thought Ethane Hawke & Emma Watson were great in their rolls.

Regression is a film of logic despite dealing with controversial religious and psychological issues. The film is dedicated and presents unpleasant and dark themes in a morbid environment. In conclusion, it's a clever, good and full of tension movie.

This movie is slow, boring and all over the place. I was expecting a lot more from Emma Watson but her acting was very wooden. Not impressed at all. You will never be able to get the hour and a half back that you waste watching this movie so don't do it.

Ethan Hawke & Emma Watson (H.Potter) shine very bright in their character portrayals. Director Alejandro Amenabar elevates this Thriller with topics of satanic cults , domestic abuse , detective investigation and emotional investment. Great movie .
