RE: Vendetta 4K Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The next installment in the CGI Animated Resident Evil films does NOT disappoint. The story is new as well as combines the other movies and charcters. The visuals and sounds are amazing to behold. 4K is the only way to watch this horrific, action packed zombie fest. Looking forward to the next film from SONY.

Cringe-worthy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My setup. Sony A8f 65 with Sony HTST5000 Max point 50/10 *** 35/10/ 3.5star I’m rating this base on video, sound, character acting, story +progression, experience The CGI is really great! This 4k version really stands out as one of the best I’ve seen in a while. There are some points where it’s not good, such as the main bad guy eyes looks like glass when they were close up. Eyes aren’t reflective like that, as a mirror. Also, another part is when the BCAA unit were in the heliport or talking over there plan, the faces were highly render to the point it looks like it was pasted on the body especially the black guy. The best-looking part is the wedding area near the end. The room, floor and clothes looked real. *8 The sound of there voices were great, my subwoofer made me feel and hear every gun shot and blast. While not as real sounding as real explosives it was still pretty good. The 4k movie support dobly atmos and 7.1HD*10 The story was simple and easy to follow but details were lacking. Like who was the woman and kid and why was he so attached to them. Where did the vial of blood go when it was one the table? did they get it? *I don’t feel like they flush some small details out.7 Acting here is for dialogues and heroes actions. Their dialogues for the most part was great * their actions were not. To many times the hero’s mainly Chris and Rebecca forgot that they were BCCA soldiers. Chris hesitated so many times in the first half of the movie that it didn’t feel natural. Like please pull the triggers already. Rebecca knows about this virus and what it does but when confronted by it she acted as if it was all new. These people are survivors and no way should they be slow reacting in these situations. Or stopping to look and wait till the infected is right in your face. Leon is about the only one who’s action seemed to reflect his history. *6 The Actions sequences borrow a lot of equilibrium like combat, which at times seem over the top and makes me wonder how he can do that, I know the bad guy can but the hero... The logic of the soldiers and main heroes at times are bad. The movie creates moments of fake suspense to create situations of scare that seems artificial and unnatural. One part the hero is more than 20 meters away from an elevator they see zombie coming out yet they don’t fire till the zombies are 2 meters away. And this scene is after the hero killed some infected after coming out of a nearby door. Seeing that the pathway forward is limited and the elevator being the only way forward the logical BCAA veteran didn’t seem so aware. There are a bunch of parts like this which make watching the movie very difficult for me. The movie is for RE fans with fan service. It’s nothing I would recommend to a person who never played or watched any of the RE films. I don’t intend to watch it again but since it does have a bunch of languages, minus Japanese, I can use it for learning purposes.

My Review
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to the real-life movies that were made this CG movie is the greatest thing ever. Objectively judging without comparing then the movie is above average. The title main page was a little difficult to navigate. The acting could have been better. Rather, at times I would describe it to be like some anime in terms of the acting which is not particularly my taste. But it was pretty cool seeing Leon and some of the fight scenes were awesome. Not regretful in purchasing.

Not bad.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this out of curiosity. I've always appreciated these photo realistic type animated movies. Pretty interesting fight scenes throughout the movie. The story keeps you involved. All in all, a satisfying watch. I thought the 4K transfer looked and sounded terrific.

The Resident Evil franchise is now animated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Resident Evil: Vendetta is a solid entry in the Resident evil franchise. The story line is predictable at times. The animation is good. The bonus features are good and educational for those who are interested in CGI animation.
