We had one like this several years ago. It works great with a laptop.

this is a great mouse if you don't have a lot of room for a normal mouse and/or don't like touch pads. easy setup and easy to get used to. I wouldn't do any fps gaming with it but, maybe some rpg and strategy gaming.

As most all logitech products, this is well put together.

I use trackballs only. When you are cluttered or limited on space these are great. I use them for gaming too. I was never a wireless fan, but I like this. I wish Logitech never discontinued the wired model. This is ideal.

Once I got used to this mouse, (which was just a couple minutes time) I truly have realized how much better and easier my computer time is now. This mouse makes every thing much easier to do.

The ball for the thumb is pretty difficult to get used to. The product works good but I prefer the type with the ball in the middle.

I use a laptop and I like to sit comfortably on my couch while I'm playing games and with this style Mouse you don't have to worry about we're you're going to move it you can just set it in one spot

I love this trackball. I've been using this model of trackball for years. It's the third I've purchased. One for me, and one for my wife. I wore out my last one, so I had to purchase a third to replace the one I bought for me several years ago.

I love the track ball mouse. It survives all type of falls. Lasts years.

I have laptop on my toolbox and the is mouse is great so I don’t have to move it around. About once a month I have to knock the ball out and clean the dust out off the sensors. Totally expected though. It holds up to a little oil, diesel fuel. From my hands. I like it so much. I bought another for home.

Very smooth operation and faster than a mouse. I have large hands though and it seems a little small to me. Overall though, very good!

Simple and easy to control. Stays in place with no need for a mouse pad or special surface. I've been using this style for many years. Just had to replace my old one that finally wore out.

I have this mouse and it's helped me w my carpal tunnel.

Only mouse I will use. Never have to lift mouse and reset it. It takes a bit to get use to using the roller ball, but once you get it it is simple and works great.

GREAT ROLLERBALL AND MOUSE. BEST I HAVE EVER USED. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND IT.

Want to try a trackball but not ready to give up on the style of a regular mouse? This might be for you. It has a thumb-operated trackball, but you still get "regular" right and left click buttons, and the trusty scroll wheel. Plus some other buttons. Sorry lefties, this mouse is not your friend.
