I was planning on going with the more expensive hdmi chord when the employee advised me that it made no difference which one I got. So of.course I went with the cheaper price hdmi chord.

The cable worked as expected, wasn't that expensive, and now my parents have crisp HDTV in their living room.

Had to return to the store

It worked for less than a minute, and then my tv just went black. I tried unplugging the cable and trying it again a few times, but it never worked again. I returned it to the store and bought a different brand, which worked just fine.
