After owning many brands of electric shavers, Braun quality and performance made me loyal to the brand more than any other. After an initial full charge, it didn't need a re-charge for more than three weeks. I shave daily. It is the closest shave I've ever had.

I've owned several other electric razors years ago and decided to try one again. Glad I went with this one. Better shave than any electric I've ever owned and the self cleaning system makes cleaning no hassle. You can tell its quality.

This is by far the best shaver I have ever purchased. The shaver effortlessly cuts through my hair. I also use this to shave my head and it takes very little time for me to shave my head. Definitely worth the money to buy.

I have highly sensitive skin and had been using cheaper electric razors ever since puberty which resulted in extremely irritated skin. After deciding to make the plunge for a Braun Series 9, I was pleasantly surprised. I have an easier time shaving and have less irritation. Although I believe this is a very good razor, I can't help but feel I could have gone with a less expensive razor. Also, I felt as if the handle could have been made from better material given the price point. As for the cleaning and recharge station, the cleaning portion of the cycle is louder than one might expect. It's a minor concern, but one worth noting. While the price point might discourage potential buyers, I would recommend this razor for what it is and what it does with the caveat of the non-shaving parts should be made with higher quality materials.

I’ve always been a Norelco user, but reviews of this razor were quite good. Tried the Braun on sale. I think I get the best, closest shaves ever with this one. Not sure about all the fussing with cleaning tanks etc. Seems a bit much. Definitely, too pricey (IMO), especially the latest version with titanium heads.

Purchased this item for my bf he travels for work and needs to shave everyday he said it’s the best shaver he has ever used feels amazing great quality product worth every penny makes skin feel very soft and doesnt irritate skin either

This razor is great! I bought this for my husband. It's so quiet when it's cleaning unlike the previous one he had. He always buy Braun razors. He also have two travel Braun razors which are so handy.

Purchased for my husband. He was tired of having to replace his Nxxxxxxx every 1-2 years. His Braun works great and has a closer shave than his previous shavers.

This replaced my old Series 7 (physically broke after 8ish years) which is no longer manufactured. The series 9 lighter than the 7. Shaving quality is awesome. The cleaning base is new and not compatible with older units. But the liquid cartridges are the same. Cleaning cycle seems shorter/quicker than my old 7 series. Plus, the new one has a dryer function.

Amazing for bald head shaves. I take mine on travel and can get almost 2 weeks of use before charging

I have had a Series 3 and Series 7 shaver. The Series 9 works great and is quieter than the Series 7. I received it as a X-mas present. I probably would not have purchased it for myself due to the price but it is an awesome shaver.

Great design overall. Very easy to use, easy to charge and its water proof. I have yet to use it other than in front of a mirror. It is a little noisy during the cleaning cycle though, not a big deal to me.

I have used Braun shavers for 15 years and have been a big fan of their clean & renew system. Though pricey, the 9 series is worth it. Great shave and the clean and renew is almost silent compared to my past 5 & 7 series shavers.

Look, it’s loud and takes a bit longer to achieve the results aim. However, I pop in my AirPods and take my time and I am silky smooth. And I’m not irritating any acne hiding under the hair or cutting my face. And by the time I’m done, I’ve gone from Sir to Ma’am (Long hair on my head lol).

I wanted the best wet or dry shaver and I believe this is it. I can't compare it to the 7 series but the comparisons I read led me to my purchase. the 7 may be a better value but it's a personal choice. My 9 series works great dry and it's pretty magical with shaving gel. It's incredibly fast and cool and shaves very close without irritation. It auto cleans and charges quickly. My only negatives would be the led status lights could be more informative and I would have preferred satin nickel or satin black finish. Chrome is a little garish for my tastes. I think it makes the product look a little cheap but you get used to it. The clean and charge system is awesome and this latest generation works very well. I've loved clean and charge since my 5xxx shaver which I had for about 12 years before it died. I really appreciate that the refills haven't been replaced over the years so the ones I had leftover could still be used. I'm very happy with this product.

Excellent razor. Easy to use and gives you a comfortable shave. Not as close as a cartridge or a DE razor though. Still a good purchase fir those who have sensitive skin or a prone to cuts. Cheers!

It’s not hyperbole to say that this shaver has changed my life. I’ve shaved my head with a razor (generally Harry’s brand) a few times per week for almost 10 years. In that time, I’ve always cut myself at least once a month (especially when using a fresh blade) as I shave in the shower. I decided to get this on a whim and am so glad I did. What used to take 15 minutes and a shower can now be done in front of the mirror in 2 minutes. The closeness on this shaver is amazing and I’ll never use anything else again.

First, this shaver is overpriced in my opinion. But it does a good job. It does provide much closer shaving than my previous Series 3. Be able to automatically clean the shaver is a great feature to keep the shaver in a good condition.

I love my new shaver. I travel with it all the time and the it trims nice and is very quiet.

I bought this to replace s Norelco rotary that they no longer support. I am glad I made the switch. It shaves much better. The cleaner is great to have also. I hope they continue to support replacement parts for this razor for a few years
