I needed to replace my old shaver and bought the Braun. It works great! Very close shave. Battery lasts a long time. Easy to clean using the cleaning system that came with the shaver. I use it only as a dry shaver, not as a wet, so I can't comment as to that. But I'm very satisfied and would recommend.

Gives a nice smooth shave, and the battery lasts for over a month. I have to charge it up so infrequently, I really don't know exactly how long it lasts as the battery seems to last forever before recharging. I've owned this for maybe a year, and the battery is still as good as new. Highly recommended.

I have a tough beard in my estimation. This razor gives me a clean, close shave. No burn from the shaver, pretty quiet and feels well in the hand. While it is expensive, I find I do get a better and more comfortable shave from it than the series 7. Don't get me wrong, the 7 does a good job, but overall, I find the 9 a better product.

At age 65 I have had the opportunity to use a number of electric shavers in my time, and I shave daily in the morning. I will admit that most of them have been Philips Norelco. The past venture was the purchase of a Norelco Series 8000 1250X razor using an RQ12 shaver head manufactured by Philips Norelco in the Netherlands 3 years ago. After the first year Norelco stopped production of the RQ12 and sold the RQ12Plus. Garbage. No wheres near the quality expected. Then Norelco came out with the RQ12Pro, and again a total failure at delivering a good shave. Now I have made the decision to leave Norelco and I purchased the Braun Series 9-9295cc Wet & Dry Electric Shaver from BestBuy and WOW. A true close shave. I do not have to go over the same areas a dozen times as with the Norelco 1250X. The 9295cc Series 9 offers a smooth, close shave with just two passes, without skin irritation. I am extremely pleased with the shaving results. The shaver uses the 92S shaver head, that exceeds the Norelco RQ12Pro. At a cost of $239.99 (on sale) from BestBuy on Ebay, I feel that the unit is worth the money because the results are noticed from the first shave. The shaver is slightly louder then the Norelco 1250X, but a quality shave is the end result.

I just switched to this from a rotary head style shaver that finally gave out, and really have been surprised how close the Braun Series 9 shaves. This seems to be a great shaver, including the travel pouch and the charger/cleaning stand. The feel is pretty good, not great though as you can see and feel that there is a lot of plastic in the build, which I'm okay with actually. The trimmer is adequate but not great, but to be honest, I've not been impressed with any of the onboard trimmers that come with electric shavers. It does a good enough job. I've traveled with it once and really found it easy to zip up in the travel pouch and go. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with this and will likely keep it for several years.

I've used a blade for years (76 y/o) but heard many good things about the Braun 9-series razors so decided to try it. Of course, it doesn't get as close as the blade did but I'm at that age where I really don't care anymore about closeness. I only shave three times a week now since I'm retired and stay home most of the time. I have only used it dry so far and will probably keep doing so since it's the quickest way to go. I like the cleaning/charge station. I clean it in the station after every three shaves (once a week). The other two times I use the brush. Overall, I really like this razor. It's premium quality, easy to handle and does a very good job of shaving.

This shaver is great. It's nice to have a system that cleans itself. It's also so convenient that it can be used wet or dry. It's great quality and gives a nice clean shave. The little trimmer not he back is wonderful for getting those difficult areas near your ears and under your neck.

Braun continues to improve on each model and this razor is definitely top of the line! I never thought I could get as good of a shave with an electric as I could with a "traditional" 3 or 5 blade razor; Braun has proven me wrong time after time. Not only does the Series 9 leave my face smooth as ever, but it doesnt feel like I peeled off the top layer of my skin every time I use it. Lets not forget the fact that I dont have to deal with shaving cream anymore. I save time and hassle in the morning by keeping it in my work bag and there is little to no mess if I need to use it at work. Charging and cleaning makes maintenance a breeze with the touch of a button. Keep up the good work Braun and thank you Best Buy!

First thing, let it be known I am an old school bald headed African American who never thought a electric razor could come close to that of my mach 3!!!, for shaving my head. Let me tell you this Braun Series 9 wet dry electric razor has made a believer out of me. Yes I may have to use a pre shave, but it shave 95% as close as my(Mach-3)razor did, but the best part of a good quality electric shaver is that one/I can shave every morning. I love the closeness that I get to start out "everyday!" with, an we all know that you do not run a bladed razor on your bare scalp every morning but with this electric shaver the blades never touches the skin, allowing for you to use it every morning. I too was skeptical but once educated (on the tips for the closest shave using a electric shaver & the advantages of a good pre-shave) I would not go back to a razor for nothing. An Braun's customer service is top notch, totally amazing! I had a couple of issues, they addressed and handle them speedly I am very happy and please with this purchase.

My last Braun shaver lasted 11 years and still holds a charge. It’ll make a great backup in an emergency. This new unit shaves very clean with no pulling, feels great in your hand, and is quieter than the old one. We’ll see if the cleaning cartridges last as long but the razor itself is wonderful.

Moved up from the 7 series to the 9 series Braun electric shaver. Great improvement in shaving quality...face is smooth and it's a lot quieter. Another great feather is it's a Wet / Dry shaver, at least my version, so easy to clean and maintain. Spend the extra bucks and to to 9 series.

Seems to work well... the shave is smooth and efficient and the traveling case and charger travel well, a thought it seems to hold a charge well over week which is good for most travel. The clean device is a little sensitive, wanting to clean more than probably necessary.

I have had an older 8000 series for a while and loved it. The cleaning station stopped working and I started looking into a new shaver. I stuck with Braun due to using it to shave my head occasionally and the Braun seems to work better than rotary style for that purpose. I finally decided on the series 9 for the wet/dry and supposed to be the closest shave of the brand. LOVE this shaver. So much closer than the 8000 and way more comfortable. It hardly feels like I am shaving. The cleaning station is much quieter than the older style. The wet / dry feature is nice but personally, I am finding the best shave is dry, maybe I haven't found the right combo yet. It is definitely not as close as a blade, but man it is close. Had a hard time at first dropping the coin on this one. I found it on sale at another popular merchant and BestBuy matched the price, so it did not sting as much!! Even at full price I feel this is worth it.

I've tried several shavers and without hesitation this is the top of the line. It shaves so close and your skin is left so smooth. I'm in love with this machine. Easy to use and clean. To top it off, the price I got it for was a steal. I would recommend it in a heart beat.

I've been a razor shaver most all my life. I've tried several times over the years to find a comfortable, close have electric razor. All but one where the rotary head type. They said it could take up to a month to get used to them. I never did. Then I read a bunch of reviews from certified buyers about the Braun. I checked the return policy and felt ok about the making the purchase. I bought it online. After a full charge, I tried it out and I was very pleased with the results. I did like the ads said about the Braun testing, with 3 days of beard growth. I am so pleased with my choice. I haven't had any problems at all. My wife has said it provides a close shave. It is not as close as I get with a razor blade shave. But it is close enough and so covinient, I'm never going back to a blade. This one I purchased has a charging station with some cleaning fluid. Might be overkill but I like it. I'd definitely recommend it.

First time owning a braun shaver and using a foil shaver on my face. First time using it was a little rough but after several uses it has been a smooth shave. Easy to use and great cleaning feature provided.

As someone who goes back and forth between Norelco rotary shavers and Braun foil shavers, I have to say that this one, the Braun Series 9, really delivers the goods. The deluxe shaver design catches all the hairs (I’m a daily shaver, somewhat thick beard hair). It seems quieter than other Braun models too and the sound (for me) is far less intrusive. It is definitely louder than my Norelco 9000 (also top of the line) but I think the Braun does a better job overall. The cleaning device though is too loud. I can hear it several rooms away. Good thing I only use it twice a week. Otherwise this feels well made, thoughtfully designed, and designed to last awhile. Very pleased and yes, I recommend it without reservation.

After having the Panasonic Arc 5 I switched to this Braun, and it really is the best electric shaver there is. Very close shave, not cuts, easy and fast to clean, and great battery life. It's only downside is the side flip up trimmer is a bad design so is not really usable.

I usually use a rotary razor but wanted a razor that gave a closer, smoother shave. The Braun Series 9 fills the order. It is a great razor that performs excellent. The cleaning station does a great job. The only negative is the razor is a little loud but quieter than other foil razors. Great quality and construction-glad I bought it!
