Outstanding value for all but extreme audiophile

Stands up to moderate use/abuse, but on my second pair due to kid's mishandling (the point where ear piece meets headpiece could be improved). Overall outstanding value! Would buy a third time without hesitation.

Also comes with the two very convenient adaptors to usb and dual (mic/headset).

Good headset

I used the USB interface for PC, but use the audio plug with my phone to listen to podcast.

Tight and bad volume control

These are far too tight and don't sit well over the ear. The volume wheel doesn't work well and won't move the volume the whole range from low to high. Most likely will return these. The sound quality was decent though. The mic is activated by flipping it up or down, not a push button on the side (which I prefer).

Sound is awesome…wire cover is garbage as usual

Cord strength is questionable for travel and repeated use. Same soft cord wire cover that starts to tear as it’s used. A silk worm could cover it better. Shield it and put pull points at the stress areas as the plastic/rubber/weirdly flexible compound isn’t working. Maybe add a small gauge increase.
