tripod OK, remote did not work

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.tripod works, extends as advertised; smart phone holder grips well; standard camera screw mount also effective; I just could not get bluetooth remote to sync, tho I gave it plenty of time to charge (the remote did light up). Lack of remote connection makes the tripod much less usable.
