Only had for a few weeks now but absolutely loving this mouse. You can add weights to it if it feels too light but just adding two for me made it thr perfect weight and super smooth.

So I bought the white version before this one. This one was $5 dollars more expensive..at first I thought it was only color that was the difference but looking at the specs on the BB site, 25600 dots per inch. So I got one.
Ehh I think it may have been a typo because on the box it says 16,000 DPI...but it really doesn't matter. Its a great mouse and a great one for the collection.
Logitech is a winner when it comes to accessories for your PC. Some great deals for Black Friday and in the past few weeks
Hey Jason, thanks for this great review! We really appreciate the feedback. Normally you would be correct, the HERO sensor used to only go up to 16k dpi, but due to a recent software update, that has been increased to 25600! Simply download our GHub software to get access to this, as well as other features such as setting custom lighting profiles, rebinding the buttons on the side of the mouse, and more! Thank you for choosing Logitech.

A staple of any gamer on this planet. Been using this for a while after moving away from my old ROCCAT kova. Logitech's software is unbeatable in terms of ease of use and the amount of stuff you can set up.
I would recommend this to a friend

Not bad at all, but the scroll wheel...

...not a fan of it. Don't get me wrong, the infinity scroll wheel itself is awesome, but it the way it's made is not as good as the wireless version. It looks like a hunk of metal whereas the wireless version is more "hollow" and from my understand, lighter. But that's just me nitpicking, other than that, it's a good mouse, especially @ $46 US. I wanted the wireless version, but It's hard to justify paying an extra $100+ just for a better mouse wheel lol. Great sensor, a bit on the heavy side for those who are into light weight mice.

Amazing Mouse ive bought it twice because I ended up accidentally shattering my first. Would buy it again and again. The weight options they give you to add to the mouse is great, Always like heavy weight mice because I like a high sensitivity mouse. Love it

Great product, every bit as good as the wireless but you will have to contend with the cord. Great response time, easy to use. One of if not the best on the market for gaming.

After using this mouse for about 90 days, I can say I really like it. It's very sensitive, which took some getting used to. I haven't had a real opportunity to program any buttons on this, but a friend who recommended said it's pretty darn easy. There is software that updates the drivers, and allows you to change the color on the mouse.
I play quite a few older games (Star Wars Battlefront 2, Unreal Tournament from 1999), so I had to decrease the mouse sensitivity for those games.
Based on my experience so far, I highly recommend this mouse, for either casual users and gamers as well.
Thank you for your insightful review of the Logitech G502 HERO. Your experience highlights the mouse's versatility for both casual users and gamers, particularly with its customizable features. We appreciate you bringing to light the adjustability of the sensitivity, which can be helpful for users playing a variety of games.

Best gaming mouse for the price and quality. Used to be super pricy, but is now way cheaper but with the same quality and performance

This is a good mouse that I use with my work computer but I'm using this iBuyPower freebie that came with my home computer right now and honestly I like it better as it is less bulky and more nimble. It would probably be cheaper if you could buy them but iBuyPower doesn't sell them separately :(. If you need advanced gaming capabilities I'm sure the G502 is the one for you but I don't do that. I should also mention that the G502 does however blow away the cheaper Logitech mouse that preceded it so that is good.
Logitech G loves that you enjoy the quality and versatility of the G502 HERO! High-quality materials, customizable weight, and convenient side buttons for gaming - sounds like a perfect fit for your hand and gameplay. Happy clicking

has a good texture and weight to it that makes it really pleasing to use, and despite having so many buttons none of them ever feel like too much of a reach to use
We're glad you appreciate the G502's ergonomic design and button layout. It's crafted for comfort and precision. Thank you for your kind words!

This is my second g502. The first being the proteus. After receiving the mouse I noticed that the hero is lighter. The only issue I have is the spot right below the sensor the weight doesn't fit just right and if you move the mouse fast you can hear the weight rattle. Other than that it's a great mouse that I would buy again and you should buy it to. Feels nice in my large hands and works well with my palm grip. I take one star away only because of the weight issue other than that it's a 5 star mouse.
Hey there! Thanks for the kind words about the G502. We're glad you're enjoying its feel and ease of use. The G Hub app is a great way to customize your settings and really make the G502 your own.

not sure if all gaming mouses are like this but the scroll wheel thing is so so sensitive when i play my gun switches so easily i had to change the control for it. but maybe that’s just how they are other than that very good mouse it comes with like weights idk what they’re for but they’re cool

Had the original G502 Proteus Core. That mouse served me for around 7-8 years by now and is still going strong, however it is getting dirty and the scroll wheel is getting stuck so I got this one with the HERO sensor. The ergonomics are the exact same as the old G502 and the price is great. It works for me.

Good mouse, I recommend it more than any other, it is very good in terms of quality-price, if you are not looking for it to be wireless it is perfect for you.
Hey! Great choice! The G502 HERO delivers top-tier performance with its HERO 25K sensor, 11 programmable buttons, and customizable RGB lighting all at a solid value. If you’re cool with wired, it’s a beast for gaming.
