Incredibly loud and clean sound. Simple to use and great peace of mind that it's waterproof.

The speaker itself is absolutly amazing. the charger is made kindy of flimsy though so be careful with it.

I owned the UE BOOM 2 before this (it went out so I was looking to replace it). I was expecting much more from this speaker since it's the "MEGA" version and the next generation. I love the aesthetic and the fact that it's waterproof but the sound is not nearly as rich on lower volume levels. Also, as a person who loves bass, I am saddened that bass doesn't sound very good with this speaker. Overall, it's decent but I wish I had more time & the means (I was desperate during COVID-19 for a new speaker) to explore some other options.

I have a couple of other UE speakers and was hesitant about spending the $$$ for this one, since the Wonderboom 1 bass, didn't wow me, although it was loud though. Then I got the UE Boom 2, I liked the features on that one with the aux out ability, but lacking the bass that I hoped it had also. When this one (the UE Megaboom 3) went on sale, I jumped on it! While not as loud as I hoped it would be, it definitely has the bass that I was looking for. Only thing is it doesn't have aux out. Otherwise, it's a solid speaker! I would recommend!

I love the UE Megaboom Bluetooth Speaker. Great idea for gifts. I highly recommend it. My favorite two features: the ability to turn it on/off from the app and the equalizer in the app.

Nice little speaker but sometimes has trouble playing both Boom speakers in party mode
