No shipping damage as previous reviews have found. My suggestion if this damage is frequent, try and visit a Best Buy in person to buy and have them unbox it for you there before you buy it. They did that for me. Thermostat is spot on anfd adjustable for me to -8 deg F and my temp monitor shows -7 to -9 always. Good stuff. Light inside is handy. Would recommend this freezer!

Its in my garage and takes up very little space. I was pleasantly surprised to see it has a light when you open it.

Based on the photos on the Best Buy website, and that there wasn't any samples at my store to look at, I decided that I was better off buying the 7 cu ft instead of the 5 cu ft. I got it home and it was so much more massive inside than what the photos made it seem that I probably should have gotten the 5 cu ft. I does work great at keeping the food below 0 degrees and uses very little electricity.

We set it a few inches off the wall to allow air flow from the back. It cooled down quickly, and has maintained very well. I would have given it 5 stars honestly, but it was sent with a small dent and a few scratches on one side that I cannot explain. The boxed looked fine upon receiving it.
