I had to replace my older LED light panels which wasn't giving enough diffusion. One of my friends sent me one of these lights and after trying it, had to purchase a second for my stream setup. Configuration was a breeze and I even have the settings tied into my Elgato StreamDeck XL as well as my desktop. There are a lot of different light and brightness levels that every streamer or photographer could possibly need.

Use case: 1) Ensure proper lighting during meetings and video calls by setting up behind monitors. 2) Reduce eye strain by properly lighting the area around monitors. Pros: 1) Wide range of color temperatures 2) Wide range of brightness (I've never actually needed more than 20%) 3) Also essentially functions as a desk lap for my setup. 4) Noticeable eye strain reduction. Cons: -- none observed for my use case -- Neutral: 1) Skeptical of needing an app to control the light settings, but so far have had no issues.

Very great lighting in such a little guy. I knew before purchasing that the app based system might be a bit annoying. It’s definitely already had its moments but it works so well otherwise that it’s easy to get over it

This light was recommended to me by BeautifulOB on YouTube, the lighting is great, not too bright, and helps my camera focus on me instead of my background. Highly recommend for content creation, photography, and overall focused illumination needs.

By far the best quality light you can purchase. I got into video game streaming recently and was shopping around. I was leaning towards a cheaper light on amazon but my gut was telling me to try this light. I'm a photographer and I know how important lighting is, its actually more important than the camera quality. You can have the best camera but worse light and not have as good of a shot as if you would if you had the best lighting and decent camera.

I love that you can change the color from hot to cold temps! It really helps a lot when it cones to streaming or even photography! It doesnt connect to the computer at all and just connects via the wifi so make sure that youre on a wifi network!

Excellent -- I snagged these to look better during conference calls and they work like a charm. The lighting is soft and they look like really nice add ons to an upscale and high tech desk

It is really hard to go wrong with anything made by Elgato. I have been repeatedly impressed by the quality of workmanship and details in useful design not even considered in competitor's products. Any difference in price is almost always made up for in Quality, Features, Design, Reliability, and incredibly easy integration with other Elgato products. Would definately recommend!

Setting up was quite annoying but ince you get past that, its great. You can easily power and adjust the lighting on your computer or phone with ease! Happy with this purchase

Definitely a lot brighter than expected, I was using a cheap light from Amazon and it was always hard getting the settings and then moving back in front of the camera. With the control app, I can use my iPhone or the app on my Mac.

Easy to use, mobile, light, and studio-quality make it an excellent prop for a virtual studio.

Great addition to my streaming set up. I like that it has a soft and hard lighting option. I will say you off you're doing a green/ blue screen you should try to have this facing the front of your face to get it to work properly. Mine is off to the side front so I can't fully use the green screen because the lighting is strong on one side only. Planning on getting a second one right. I like this a lot!

I bought this light for my company WebEx sessions and I must say that this light is just awesome. You can easily adjust the light color temperature and the brightness. I just modified the included stand with a clamp mount from Amazon to minimize the footprint off the lamp on my desk
