The problem is I expect things to last a long long time. I have the same mouse, different design, that lasted only about 12 months. Still, wfh, it is far easier to buy my own mouse than wait for my employer to figure out how to get a replacement for me. As long as they have neat graphics, I'll keep buying these.

I bought this to have a wireless mouse at work that I would enjoy looking at the whole day...like a nice piece of art. I get compliments all the time from customers and as far as a basic Bluetooth mouse that has a USB-A receiver it's FANTASTIC. Plug and play at its finest simplicity. Takes a single AA battery which I use ~8hrs/day 4days/wk turning off the device at end of day a single Alkaline name brand battery lasts me months.

A friendly mouse

That took a minute to find. Only thing I am not crazy about is the on/off switch. It's a bit clunky. Other than that it's a nice mouse, And the color is great!
