Apple cables have always been crap. I bought this Insignia cable because it was one of the cheapest and was only one of two available at the time. This is a STURDY cable! I was not expecting a braided cable at this price point and the connector ends are solid. Apple should take notes from he cable.

A Lightning cable that works!

Have purchased Insignia products for years because it is reliable. Material around Lightning cable does not fray and stays intact and a quarter of the price compared to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products. Will buy again!

This cable is just PERFECT for the vehicle....as after I plug it into either of my vehicles.....I am 'hands free' in a major way! The 'shortness' of the cable is the best part....as after plugging my iPhone into my vehicles for Apple CarPlay.....I don't ever actually 'handle' my iPhone while driving and longer cables just take up room and create clutter in the vehicle!

Unfortunately, the last few chargers I received from Amazon were subpar and I was down to only a few working chargers to split between myself and my daughter, leaving us stuck bringing our charger with us everywhere we went in and out of the house. This charger does as it promises...it charges my Apple devices quickly so I don't have to sit by a usable charger 90% of my time and it works well in my car so I can use my HandsFree USB port for music on my phone.

The covering of the cords won't melt with the heat of the car and the sun, so that's why I pick these but they're turning out to be better than I thought.
