Buy this, don't get Apple's.

This 10" cable is BRAIDED. This thing is super durable. Insignia is a Best Buy brand, and the fact that they made a better quality charging cable than Apple themselves is absolutely embarrassing. Don't waste your money on an Apple charger. Get this, and be happy.

Great, 1 year lifespan at least.

They each lasted approximately a year of use each. Lasted longer than many other cables I’ve had. No fraying ever happened, they just eventually wore out the USB-A connection causing them to stop working. I’m back to buy more!

Why pay more?

No problems at all, I am completely satisfied. You can buy a 1' cable from Apple if you like - I'm sure it's a wonderful product - or you can buy two of these from Best Buy and still have some change in your pocket. The choice is yours.

Insignia 10’ Lightning To USB Charge & Sync Cables

We could not have made a better decision. They are a 100% better quality than Apple’s product, that we planned on purchasing. Fortunately the Apple cables were out of stock. The cables are the perfect length for when the outlet is not in the vicinity of our seating arrangements. Superior quality to Apple’s product, in my opinion.

I like the nice neutral silver gray color. The fabric cord is easy to keep track of and does not get lost as easily as the vinyl ones do. It is a convenient two pack for a good price and is good quality. One for home and one for on the go!
