    This is a durable cable with a braided nylon exterior that makes it pretty tough and unlikely to wear out. It's notably thicker than an Apple cable, and the plastic around the Thunderbolt connector is also notably thinker than the Apple cable, which may be a concern for some phone cases. These cables also have a very common feature found in non-Apple Thunderbolt cables in that the connector itself has straighter corners and a is a fraction of a mm longer, which makes the cable not fit snugly (at least in iPhone 7 and earlier), particularly if the port is a bit dirty.

    Product is as described, but is a little tough to bend out of the box. Insignia products are the Best Buy for your money and will last accordingly.

    These cords have been great considering that they always make good contact with the charging ports on our IPads, and they haven't broken down behind the plug - we can absolutely destroy plugs
