These long 10 ft USB-C lightening cables do need a USB-C power adapter which is just as affordable. The cable itself is sturdy and the chord has a nice silvery woven material around it.

It is a bit annoying that Apple doesn't include things like a charger with their products now. I had to buy everything for the Apple phone, Way to save on packaging.. UGH! Anyway, I bought this along with a converter for my car too. Why not. It's perfect!
