Deceitful durability and uncomfortably stiff cable

Well it’s long I’ll give it that, but it has already broken a month and a half of use and in the most unexpected place. The lightning tip of the cable has snapped lose and no longer produces a charge. I cannot tell if this happened due to a drop or just over time use, but a durable cable is only as strong as its weakest link. My diagnosis is that the cable is so beefy and rigid (2 cons I didn’t see being as big of a deal they have become) that it provides and opposite weight to my phone making the lightning end become a hinge over time. My advice: find a longer thinner cable, and if your here for durability just know that it’s NOT worth the stiff cable.
