Only thing is the cable is already starting to not work (purchased 8-29-21) and and I now have to angle the charger for it to work (10-23-21).

I have the black version for myself and got this one for my wife to use. The 10' really gives you a lot of freedom of motion while keeping the device plugged in and charging on road trips or in the hotel room. I use magsafe chargers otherwise. Bottomline: It is a charging cable, lightning to USB-C. It plugs in and charges as it should.
