This is a great tool for the house... we have high-end floors and Persian carpets... the Jet gets through four bedrooms and a large kitchen/great room, usually on one charge... using medium power. I would like to have a backup battery... haven't gone there yet. The disposal of the dirty part of the Jet is easy and clean... all parts are easy to access and cleaning is easy... the Jet is lightweight, and when I think of the years of pushing the big Hoover units around I wonder why more people don't have bad backs...

The design and material are beautiful. I used to have Dyson so i have a pretty reference. I like the design and materials quality. It is lighter, quieter and less expensive than the Dyson. However, the syction power is not as powerful as Dyson also the dust bin cleaning can be easier with point and shoot like Dyson. Now it need to be manually remove and empty. In summary, i think it is a fair value to cost.

Great power which you can adjust. The battery life is good. I shed a lot and it picks up hair my old sweeper would just drag along and ball up for me to pick up by hand. I love the ability to purchase another battery so one battery is always fully charged. The cleaning station is worth the money to avoid making a new mess dumping the collection canister.

Hesitant to pay this much for a vacuum but sure glad I did. Suction is good on medium and battery life is 40 minutes on medium power.. As previously stated by others you get 10 minutes on high power. Thus far very pleased with this purchase.

I own a Dyson cordless 11 vacuum and it doesn’t compare to my Samsung. I love that I can remove the battery and put another battery in it without having to recharge the entire unit. It’s just like all my cordless power tools. It has a on/off button that I like. The dyson is a trigger. I had to replace the dyson battery after a year. Very expensive. We’ll see how the Samsung does. So far, so good. On another note. I bought my Samsung at Best Buy, and bought the 3 year warranty extension. Something goes wrong, return it and get a new one. I bought the Dyson on eBay, and bought the 2 year warranty. The dyson went bad after a year. What a run around to get that dyson repaired. Came back in 3 weeks after shipping it to Dyson, and it still didn’t work. Best Buy for sure.

It a great vacuum. The only con of this is the battery life. As long as you use it on medium setting and don't use the floor attachment, it last longer than an hour, enough to do one living room and a long hallway, but if you use the floor attachment and on higher suction, it'll last 10-20 minutes top. Recommend to buy a 2nd battery. Worth it bang for buck. This model is more ideal if you don't want to mount it on the wall and wants to be able to move it if needed.

    My New Favorite Cordless Vacuum

There are other choices for a high-end cordless stick vacuum on the market, and I want to give you the reasons why I would choose this over the other stick vacs in its price range and why it has become my favorite stick vac since the Dyson V8. Please note that the vast majority of my home is hardwood floor. A few things I noticed and appreciated: When I started using it fully loaded, I noticed that it is very, very light. Coming in at 6 pounds, it’s so easy to maneuver around your home using one hand and lifting it over obstacles is not a problem. So for those that can’t carry a 10 pound dumbbell if it meant saving your life, this one's for you. Another cool feature is the telescoping wand where you can lengthen or shorten the vacuum, depending on the situation. The only other vac I’ve seen do this is on the LG, and I find this feature particularly useful. Basically if you need more juice, you should have the ability to change your battery when needed, and this unit will allow you to do so (it only comes with one battery out of the box though). One-touch on/off operation. No need to pull and hold the trigger to keep the unit on. But what drew me to the VS90 immediately is the inclusion of the soft roller brush. I was a bit disappointed in the other brand offerings as they begin to push universal roller heads that can do both carpet and hardwood floor. Although these universal roller heads have been proven to be pretty effective, I found that nothing can replace the soft roller brush for any hard floor types. Fine dust and dirt are no match for the soft roller brush. When I do the rugs in my home, I just switch over to the traditional turbo brush. I’ve also learned that this unit can accommodate a dual spin brush, although it is not included. This would come extremely handy for mopping/cleaning the floors more thoroughly using wet pads. I have not seen them for sale as of yet, but I do intend to purchase it once available. Now for the subjective stuff. In my opinion, the vacuum looks very sleek and has a unique design. Very characteristic of Samsung to design a product that is intended to stand out from its competitors. I certainly would not mind having this out in the living room with its ChroMetal (chrome-ish gunmetal?) stand. When stored away for charging, it’s subtle, yet contemporary and will complement any room. The design of the dust bin is also unique, yet I didn't think its implementation was the best solution to emptying the bin, at first. I was apprehensive to dislodge it from the unit (you have to literally remove the bin off the vacuum) as I do prefer Dyson’s V11 quick-lever-pop-open-chute approach, but I began to appreciate the VS90’s approach much more because it forces you to separate the filter from the bin each time, and it’s actually very simple to operate. This makes for a very thorough removal of stuck hair and dust bunnies that would normally lodge itself within a bin in the one-touch lever solutions. I’ve also been able to completely rinse the bin assembly under warm water, which keeps it fresh. Powerwise, the VS90 has plenty of it to get through carpet and hardwood floors. It has 3 main power modes (low, mid, high...mid is default) and mid will get through most of your suction needs. Samsung claims 60 minutes of battery life on a single charge; I’m pretty sure that number comes for using 100% low power mode because I was getting between 30-40 minutes on mid power on a single charge, which is actually plenty for my home (2400 sq ft). I mainly do the floors, so YMMV. It comes with a crevice tool for those tight places, a mini spin brush for your upholstery and a combo brush/crevice tool that’s probably best used for cleaning your car’s interior. Lastly, maintenance on the VS90 seems to be the easiest I’ve seen thus far. The roller heads can be dismantled without tools for ease of cleaning, and the dust bin and it’s components can be thrown in the dishwasher. Each stick vac has a prefilter that needs to be rinsed occasionally and this unit is no exception. It can be easily accessed at the top of the bin when it is removed. If we’re looking at the bottom line, the VS90 does as well as its competitors in terms of suction, cleaning ability and run times. The inclusion of the soft roller brush would definitely sway me to this unit over the other ones at this price range. Reliability is still up in the air, but you do get a 1 year parts/labor warranty and the battery will slowly degrade to 70% capacity after 5 years.

Solid Vacuum, feels like I have to set it to Max suction to pick up anything though. It still does the job well and has a nice design that we like. The battery doesn't seem to last quite as long as advertised but the assortment of included attachments is nice. Would probably get one of the Dysons instead next time there is a good sale on them.

    Nice Cordless Stick Vacuum

The Samsung Jet 90 is a nice stick vacuum with the convenience of cordless vacuuming. Following are what I found to be the pros and cons: Pros: - I read through all the instructions and watched a video accessed through a QR code, which gave a condensed and helpful resource for assembly and use. - The battery takes about 3.5 hours to charge when completely empty. Easy to know when the charging is complete as there are flashing lights along the sides that stop flashing when fully charged. The battery is easy to connect to and remove from the charging station. - I get approximately 20 minutes of vacuuming time on the mid setting with using Max on the heavy traffic areas. The battery will last longer the lower the setting, Mid setting had decent suction, max definitely has better suction, but uses the battery faster. This vacuum would work very well for an apartment or small house as you could vacuum the whole thing in one charge. - The vacuum is lightweight and great for vacuuming under furniture as you can lay it flat to get under tough places to reach. Given the light weight and having no cord, it is also ideal and easy to use on stairs. - The adjustable handle works well for working in different and hard to reach areas. - I used it on ceramic tile, hardwood floors, carpet and throw rugs. It worked well on all floor types. - It is easy to empty the dust bin and clean the filters. Only need dishwashing soap and water to clean it. - The vacuum comes with one universal head you can use on all surfaces, one head specifically for wood floors and tile and a mini motorized tool to use on furniture. - The mini motorized tool attaches to the bottom of the handle and dust bin, as do the other attachments, so you can use it as a hand held vac. The handheld feature makes is great for vacuuming furniture, beds and using the flexible tool and crevice tool in the handheld mode, it was very easy and convenient to use to vacuum out my car. - Attachments all have release buttons to making switching attachments very easy. - There is a trouble shooting section in the instructions, which I haven't had to use, but it looks like it provides some good solutions to various possible problems. Cons: - While the instructions themselves are easy to follow, they are a bit wordy. There were 13 pages of warnings and "do nots" before getting to the set up instructions and 4 more pages at the end of the instructions with more cautions and "do nots". Might be better to have a separate document with the warnings and provide a separate guide for assembly and use instructions only. - I have a large two story house, I could vacuum one floor, the stairs and a part of the second floor before running out of battery. With only one battery, this means I have to wait until the battery is charged before finishing. As mentioned in the pros, the single battery would be plenty big for an apartment or small house. - The vacuum comes with a dual charging station, which would be great if you had two batteries, as you could then switch batteries and finish a large house all at one time. However, since it only comes with one battery, I looked into buying a second battery and it was approximately $250 to buy a second battery. It would be nice if it came with two batteries since it has a dual charging station. - It would be helpful if the vacuum came with a bag or something to store the extra heads and tools in. Overall, this is a nice vacuum, I love the cordless feature and the stick vacuum and handheld functionality, which provide great convenience. With a large house, you just need to decide whether you are willing to vacuum part of the house and then wait for the battery to charge to finish vacuuming, or if you want to buy an expensive second battery. I would recommend this vacuum to friends, especially those in an apartment or small house or who just want the cordless convenience for stairs and the handheld for pet hair on furniture and automobiles.

This vac is really nice. It's well-built but lightweight, has great suction, the battery lasts a long time, it comes with every attachment you can imagine, and the roller head attachments are the perfect size and are low profile enough to fit under all our furniture. It's also quiet relative to other vacs I've used. The charging stand is stable and works well. The only slight negative is that emptying the dust bin is a little fiddly, it takes some practice to get the latches lined up correctly. Once you figure it out it works OK and does not make a mess. Overall I highly recommend it!
