I decided to buy this streaming device for my S-N-L. I brought it for her to replace the Google Asus Nexus Player I brought her 6-7 years ago. Which is still working. Was going to wait & give it to her for Christmas. But decided to just give it to her as soon as it arrived. Only took 2 days for it to arrive from BB. She said this is so much better and faster than the old streaming Nexus Player.

Best streamer on the market. Extremely easy to use and navigate. Having the chanel guide right there is awesome

Very nice to bundle a variety of apps in one place, its is fast and the Chromecast 4k is a great bonus!!

This is a great improvement over the previous edition chromecast device, which I now have on another TV in the house. The remote is fantastic and works so much better to surf through different streaming services and get recommendations. It is also more reliable to use, as the streaming was often hit or miss on the previous chromecast with my phone not always recongizing the device or not establishing a connection after selecting it.

Fantastic with the Android TV OS. I have this as a replacement for most of my TVs own OS because it just outclasses it in every way. It's snappy and easy to use, and most importantly it can access all of Androids entertainment apps unlike a TV OS with a fractured app presence. I would say this is a must have. It can also be controlled by other remotes, I have this paired with my LG CX remote and it works perfectly.

This is well worth the price. I got this because I have started to make my home a Google Assistant Smart Home and this was a much needed product. With this you can have access to all of your apps and more features that are incorporated with your TV in one item. It makes everything a lot more simple and doesn't give up quality of what you are viewing; in fact I would say it makes the viewing better for some shows/movies.

Long time Google fan here, this will be the 3rd Chromecast we have purchased, I have one connected to my main TV and the second in our Bedroom. I have subscribed to several of the streaming services so the only time I don't have something to watch is because I've not turned the TV on! Google is suggesting a lot of content, a few from platforms I dont subscribe to. But I sub'd to some others and really like the content. The darn dog likes the remote and chewed it up. I bought two more and nightly place them where she cant get to. I have also had one remote "wear out" where the buttons just stopped working, So very easy to add remotes, Google does a nice job there.

Easy set up, I like how the apps are laid out on screen. Note:Seems it was defaulted to lower quality video, once I changed in settings to do video based on source, the colors intensity really increased to true HDR. Initial default setting made colors look washed out compared to same movie through my Roku box, now it looks as good as my Roku output, but I can watch HBO Max thru the Chromecast, whereas I couldn't get that app/channel thru Roku.

Amazingly simple to setup and use. Needed it for our local streaming service. Excellent picture.

Fantastic device. I have an older HD TV that isn't a smart TV and I didn't want to buy a new one. I used an old blu-ray player that had a few pre-installed apps but updates were no longer supported. This device is a great alternative to watching my streaming services. And the remote makes it so easy to navigate. I'm so impressed and would recommend to anyone. FYI: If you are looking for live TV, you'll have to subscribe to YouTube.

I've had ROKU, Apple TV, the original Chromecast, and now this. After using this for over a month, I will be purchasing one of these for each of my televisions and never having to worry about what app is supported or what input I have to be on to watch my content on any service. This works with everything, controls the TV power/volume (including surround setups), and basically simplifies everything into a single interface that is easy to use.

What a great device! Everything is available in one single place. I have a LG OLED 4K TV and it doesn’t have HBO max as an available app to download along with a few others. This device adds that capability. I like that with this Google offered a remote which was definitely needed. This device is headed towards the right direction. While scrolling it is fast and not sluggish. Also the remote controls my TV and subwoofer!! Great buy

Coming from a Chromecast Ultra, I had decent expectations for this new device, but none too extraordinary. But from the day I received it, I knew Google had did something good. The setup took about 10 minutes and was not complicated at all, and it installed all of my streaming apps for me which simplified many parts of the process. It’s such a snappy device in such a small form factor and for its price you can’t go wrong. I highly recommend!

I upgraded from my old Chromecast. Honestly did not need the other features it has such as the other programs associated with it like Netflix, Hulu. If you're looking for something to just broadcast YouTube videos or Netflix, you don't really need a google Chromecast or a Chromecast at all. you can just straight broadcast what you're watching to the tv.

By far the best mainstream streaming device available. Google really knocked it out of the park on this one. Definitely gives Roku a fierce competitor. Nice thing about this device is that running Android you can pretty much load or sideload any available Android apps. Video is excellent. Responsiveness is super snappy. Remote is a pleasure to use. Price is direct competition to Roku and Fire TV that are much more limited in use.

This is an exceptional value and amazing upgrade to my clunky Samsung interface on my TV. Setup was super easy and integrates into the Google Home ecosystem pefectly. The included remote, which separates this from previous versions of chromecast, is a nice upgrade to the one that came with the TV. I was surprised to find that the buttons were mapable. It easily controls the volume and power functions on my TV. Worth every penny!

Chromecast is so easy to install and gives me more options to view on my TV or any TV I use. I like the idea that I can take it with me anywhere I go, on business trips or vacations. I do not leave home for any length of time without it.
