Mute the headset? Your controller is muted and follows suit. The ability to change volume levels between voice chat, music, in-game sounds are super easy. For music, it's a bit tinny. For games though, it's fantastic. There are better options out there of course, but I don't regret this purchase.

I don't use them all the time, but its a nice thing to have, for me at least, so I don't wake the kids and wife and they are sleeping. I've used the microphone feature only a few times and people on the other end seem to hear me clearly.

Fine for the money

I've tried many PS5 headsets and they are all low-quality compared to Xbox. The point being if you don't care about the cheap plastic feel, you might as well get this instead of spending way more money for slightly better audio with other "high-end" headsets.
