They work well and stay powered for hours. Not BOSE, but does have great sound! When will sony make them bluetooth connected? The IR usb plug is outdated tech .

I had been using Steelorbis series 7 for my PS4 but didn't like the fact that turning off the headset didn't switch automatically to TV sound. I bought this as I really liked the old ps4 gold headset but it broke too easily because of the folding hinge, I went through 3 sets. It does automatically switch over sound but the build does feel a little cheap and is not as comfortable as my Steelorbis. The ear cover foam is much harder and Sony is still using the faux leather that will start peeling after a few months of use. The size of the ear hole also seems kind of small as I have to adjust every once in a while as I can feel pressure building up. Button layout is very similar to the PS gold headset which is awesome, I did not like the rotary dials for sound on the steelorbis. Sound incoming is great, I feel like it picks up better sound but my online friends say I sound funny, like my voice is digitally enhanced almost echo-ey. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it because of the comfort level. I usually game a few hours at a time and it's already bothering me for having it on for those couple hours. I love the design / look of the headset, but I can't use it for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time.

The Sony Pulse 3D Wireless Headset in black is the perfect companion for my PS5- even more so since I just changed the faceplates on my console for official black ones. I like black better as it blends better with my TV setup. This headset provides better dynamic range and clarity than the previous platinum headset for PS4. It also seems to have a better signal range than the platinum as well- I can go almost another 5 more feet away as I am listening to music while doing stuff around the house. (I use my headset a lot to privatize sounds as I live in a multi-generational household, and I play a lot at night.)

They are one of the best headsets that I have tried, since they offer you comfort, good audio quality and super easy use. at the beginning it is a bit difficult or strange how to occupy them but you get used to it. They work super well on Playstation 5.

Great sounding headset! They're fairly comfortable, but compared to my Arctis 7, the ear cups aren't as good. The included options are also really good, but I'm not a fan of the power and monitor toggles or the feel/placement of the volume rockers. I would've preferred they be spaced out more, or on separate ear pieces.

The Sony pulse headset is a great above average gaming headset for the PlayStation 5. I can clearly hear footsteps and other directional sounds when playing games with give me a slight edge. Quality appears to be good, and they’re fairly comfortable.

Solid headset for the price. 3D audio is noticeable and neat feature. Cups are not the best quality and will start to tear and time/wear set in. Would prefer them go with a better material but again, for the price you can’t go wrong. Due to to cup design, if you wear glasses they may hurt the back of your ears/side of your head due to the pressure.

Connects flawlessly to the system and I can wear them for hours before feeling uncomfortable. Battery life is good too

Very comfortable to wear and sounds great i bought 2 one for me and ob for my son hopefully theyll last awhile!! I do recommend these for the price.

The 3D effect is really cool. The sound quality is pretty good with some adjustment from the PS5 EQ. Wish is didn't need a dongle to work, but not that big of a deal, i just plugged it in the back. Very comfortable to wear. I wore them for almost 2 hours straight and it didn't bother my ears.

These headphones are worth the money and are a perfect match for gaming on a PS4 or PS5. The sound quality is very good and the 3D sound experience is surreal!

My second pair… my dog ate the first one and I would buy a 3rd if needed. Might buy the elite too but I’ll see. Honestly didn’t really care about the best headset and it was PlayStation branding and everything I own is PlayStation so it was an easy pick and glad I made that selection.

I recommend these if you are on a budget they sounds great and battery life just does it for me everytime I hop on the game
