This is kind of a mixed review. I was very happy with the iPad itself- when it was working properly. It turned out to have a problem with the screen. It would be working fine, and then it would partially or completely stop responding to touch, and if a keyboard was open on the screen, it would start going crazy typing by itself. I have a hard time blaming Best Buy, because the issue didn't show up until the second day I had it, so it likely just wasn't caught during the refurbishing process (which I'm guessing just entails a factory reset, and a quick screen, button and port check). No hassle with returning it, and I have reordered, so hopefully the next one is good.

Excellent tablet, has only 2 speakers but has four grills for them kinda deceptive. Biggest downside is the OS has no back button whatsoever. Thats true for all Apple products. Back buttons are dependent on the particular app you are using. Most of the time its on top, then u have to reach for it. Why on why doesnt apple implement a back button???

The iPad Air 4th generation is a solid device with a lot to offer. Its sleek design, with flat edges, makes it look modern and premium. The 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display is vibrant and clear, ideal for watching videos or working on creative projects. Performance-wise, the A14 Bionic chip delivers smooth multitasking and app performance, which is impressive for most everyday tasks, from gaming to productivity. It’s also compatible with the Apple Pencil 2, which is great for artists and note-takers.
One standout feature is the USB-C port, offering faster data transfer and charging compared to the Lightning port. Plus, the addition of Touch ID on the power button is a convenient and secure way to unlock the device.
However, if you’re looking for advanced features like a ProMotion display (120Hz refresh rate) or higher-end camera systems, you’ll need to step up to the iPad Pro. But for most users, the iPad Air 4 strikes a great balance of performance, design, and price.
