Needed sufficient processing capabilities to run statistical software—which it met for my needs. While processing speed exceeds what is found at or near its price point, it sacrifices screen quality—which hurts with charts and graphs. Had I spent five minutes working within Word, I would have passed.

Great Laptop

The build quality is certainly better, keyboard feel and picture quality are great and the unlike some of the other reviews for this product, I am very pleased with not only the level of sound, but the quality and stereo separation. I would certainly recommend this PC to anyone looking for an entry level "premium" laptop.
