The USB cable charger is proprietary so if lost can't use a USB universal cable to charge it.

The sound quality could be better and you likely won't hear anything in a subway, but I guess that's the compromise with bone conduction technology.

I still have a pair of Aftershokz I bought in early 2021 that work without any issue. So this could be a fluke or the quality has tanked since they got popular. They do what theyre supposed to do and sound fine for what they are. But hard to recommend a product that has mechanical issues this soon.

We highly recommend upgrading to the latest firmware version via the Shokz app for the best experience with your OpenRun Pro. There is also a phone setting that may resolve the low volume issue. -On the iPhone, go to Settings > Sound & Haptics > Headphone Safety, make sure that the Reduce Loud Audio Feature is switched off as this will affect the volume of the headphone. -On an Android, go to the Bluetooth Settings on the phone, find the headphone and make sure that the Absolute Volume feature is switched on for it. Pro shocks head phones

When battery gets to medium they lose connection constantly with my iphone 13 max. Iam disappointed in quality but its a great concept to not have anything in your ears.

Not for iPhones

Although you can listen to music with no problems if a call comes in and your on a iPhone you will drop the call. My friend has one on his pixel and they work fine for him.
