The craft ice balls are neat. Overall is really good looking and it will look good in any kitchen when just cleaned. But: - The lack of handles turned out to be completely annoying. It's quite uncomfortable to open and close and there will be always very visible fingerprints on the glass pane, no matter how much care you use. On top of that the ergonomics encourages you to handle the door from the vertical seal flap who is not supposed to be touched or it can break badly (it happened to me on a previous model). - The ice makers are extremely fragile: one broke just after two weeks possibly because a drawer was slightly misplaced from its intended position (1/2 inch off its mark). LG replaced it very quickly without charge but still, I didn't want a freezer that requires more care than a newborn child not to break Nitpicks: - The round water/ice/crushed ice selector is hard to read and there is no good reason to make it round, it's kind of misleading as one expects it to rotate and it does not. - The mini cubes are no good, too small and slower to produce than regular cubes. I guess this is my fault as there was a model making regular ice cubes.

Wished the indoor ice maker can make more than one type because I the mini ice and the craft ice all the time and never the indoor ice. So I end up opening the freezer frequently thus not energy efficient. The lack of dedicated handles I could see as a problem for those with different disabilities or height challenges. It works fine for me but this would not fit all households because of it. Overall it works for me but I know it won't for everyone.
