If there's times where battery life is your priority over performance, press the Fn + Q keys simultaneously to switch thermal profiles and select quiet/conservation mode.

I called the Lenovo company because I have a friend that works at best buy and he said there is nothing they can do because I did not have insurance through best buy. Lenovo tried to convince me that they could do something and tried to rush off the phone with me. They gave me fake names, fake call back numbers and even acted like they could not understand what I was saying (when the guy talked to his coworker he spoke perfect english).They sent me on a wild goose chase calling different cities to get to a person and they all said we no longer work with them bc of xyz. I then did some research and their website (That is horribly outdated) said that if you have this particular insurance you can get a replacement as long as there is no damage. Again another wild goose chase. They laughed in my face, called me stupid, hung up the phone and or just transferred me before I could even explain anything. I finally got to talk to a woman she was standoff-ish and did everything she possibly could to deny me the replacement. I explained to her that I am a college student and had two weeks left of the semester with finals and assignments etc she said all they could do was put in a request that would then have me pay to ship my computer to Florida for them to look at it - not work on- look and that would be $200 she then said if they determined it was damaged (she also added that the policy can be manipulated) it would cost me $400+ for them to fix it not including the hardware and shipping. I will NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.
